Description
VINTAGE DECO PINK DEPRESSION GLASS, INDIANA GLASS TEA ROOM CREAM & SUGAR.Offered here, a cream and sugar set in the pattern Tea Room by Indiana Glass about 1920. The beautiful quality of the glass in these pieces combined with and enhanced by the emphatic Art Deco design make this set perhaps the most outstanding example of pink depression glass. This set is in excellent but used condition as I tried to show by photographing the indicia of use on the bottoms. The sugar stands 3 3/4" high with a 4 1/4" top diameter. The creamer stands 4 1/8" high with a 3 3/4" top diameter. Thanks for looking into my auctions.
Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This elusive depression glass Art Deco lamp is in the Tea Room pattern by Indiana Glass made from 1926 to 1931. Including the top hardware, it measures 12” The green glass portion you see measures 8 5/8”. As elusive as this lamp is, it is even more uncommon to fine a piece of Tea Room without chips on those exposed points. I can not find one. What I do find are tiny bubbles and an area (show) with an imperfection in the glass. Depression glass was mass manufactured and sold cheaply or given away. Housewives of the day could make a bright pretty table and not spend a fortune. So flaws are not uncommon. The photo shown with the light on is a 60w, when I turn a light on, you know the cord is good. Please see photos for more description.
