The Saramonic CamMic is a compact, ultra-light, plug-in powered shotgun microphone that delivers clear, broadcast-quality sound to DSLR, mirrorless, video cameras and mobile devices. Lightweight and compact, it features impressively quality construction that’s unexpected for such an affordable microphone. The CamMic is a high-quality piece of equipment that provides premium sound for your video productions.
A stand out feature of the CamMic design is the unique microphone shockmount. The wiry shockmounts on some competing microphones are flimsy and prone to bending, this can cause some unwanted audio issues and change the way the microphone picks up sound. The integrated shockmount of CamMic is robust and features a sleek, sweeping and stable design.
A dual layered, uniquely designed bullet like windscreen is included, giving the CamMic its unique and interesting look. It features a sturdy gasket which aids in blocking wind noise, helps to protect the microphone from things like weather and dust, and keeps it securely fastened in place while on the go.
The output cable of the CamMic is removable. An 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS cable for connecting to cameras is included, in addition to a 1/8" (3.5mm) TRRS cable for connecting to smartphones and tablets. An 80Hz low-cut 2-position switch on the back of the mic enables you to eliminate unwanted rumble sounds and make dialog more intelligible when shooting in noisy environments. A built-in camera shoe-mount features a metal 1/4 20 tripod thread at the base that gives you near limitless mounting options.

is a dual-channel stereo condenser microphone offering a realistic, phase-accurate stereo image for accurate capture of dialog and environment sounds in ENG, interviews, documentaries, and various video production scenarios. Featuring three highly sensitive electret condenser elements arranged in a mid-side (MS) configuration, the MC5-MS is well suited for stereo and mono recording, and boasts a frequency response of 80 Hz to 20 kHz when used in stereo (or 70 Hz to 20 kHz in mono). The microphone elements output to two Neutrik 3-pin XLR connectors, making it an ideal mate for XLR-equipped camcorders capable of providing 40 to 52 VDC phantom power.
The compact, shotgun-style body is designed to stay out of frame, even when mounted to a camera. Its rugged metal construction ensures durability while inhibiting RF interference, noise from vibrations, and problematic resonance. A fur windscreen is included for enhanced reduction of noise from wind and HVAC systems. At just 5.6 ounces, the MC5-MS serves as a significant upgrade from the microphones built into camcorders and cameras while adding minimal weight to your setup.
Accurate Stereo Audio Capture
The MC5-MS integrates three unidirectional condenser elements arranged in a mid-side (MS) configuration for stereo imaging and mono compatibility without phase discrepancies. Thanks to high sensitivity and wide frequency-response capabilities, the MC5-MS is optimal for recording dialog, sound effects, and ambient sounds.
Simple Mono Operation
When the MC5-MS is intended to supplement a primary microphone (e.g. a lavalier microphone is being routed to one of your camera's audio channels), unplug the right output of the MC5-MS to operate it in mono.
Compact and Camera-Friendly
Measuring just 5.4" long, the MC5-MS can sit atop a camera (mounts available separately) while remaining out of the shot. Since it weighs just 5.6 ounces, its presence is barely noticeable.
Ideal for Professional Camcorders
Any camcorder outfitted with dual XLR inputs and 40 to 52 VDC phantom power will provide proper hookup and power for the MC5-MS. Used in place of your camcorder's built-in microphone, the MC5-MS offers a notable improvement in sound quality.
