THE DOGWOOD PATTERN IS A GREAT CHOICE WHEN CHOOSING A VINTAGE PATTERN DUE TO THE WONDERFUL PATTERN, AGE & VERY SHORT PRODUCTION RUN. THIS PATTERN WAS AVAILABLE ON A FULL SERVICE SET SO COLLECTING THIS STYLE CAN BE FUN. SOME PIECES ARE FAIRLY RARE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU FACTOR CONDITION AS MOST SAW REGULAR USE. THESE BOWL WERE MADE IN A ROLLED EDGE STYLE WHICH HAS A SLIGHT FLAIR ON THE SIDES VERSUS THE ANGULAR STYLE. THE ROLLED EDGE VERSIONS ARE VERY COLLECTABLE AS IN MOST DEPRESSION GLASS CEREAL BOWLS AS MANY HAVE BEEN DAMAGED OR BROKEN OVER THE YEARS OF USE. THESE ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS,CRACKS OR FLEABITE ISSUES OR HEAVY UTENSIL MARKINGS - VERY NICE EXAMPLES WITH VERY LITTLE SIGNS OF AGE. RIM EDGE SMOOTH & GLASS CLEAR & BRIGHT

Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage.
Dogwood was made from 1929 until sometime in 1932.
The pattern is well defined and the color is fabulous.

Dogwood, sometimes called Appleblossom, or Wild Rose is a beautiful mold pressed pattern that has attracted many collectors of Depression Glass. This beautiful and delicate pattern was produced by the MacBeth Evans Glass Company. A set of green can be obtained in this pattern, but the pink color is more commonly found and is much easier to acquire. Other colors, listed above, are very hard to find and there are not enough pieces to put together an entire set.
